manufacturing process

"Each piece begins with an idea and takes shape with our hands."

It all begins with an idea

Every bag starts with a concept: a need, a shape that inspires us, or a color palette we are eager to explore.

We design with paper and pencil because we believe that working by hand connects more deeply with the soul of the product. We create full-scale patterns, testing proportions and seeking the perfect balance between design and functionality.

Only when form and function are in perfect harmony do we take the next step.

We choose without shortcuts

Materials are not just a detail. They are the foundation of everything.

We select European smooth napa bovine leather—soft yet resilient—produced in Spain by suppliers certified by the Leather Working Group. For the weave, we use Italian polypropylene cord: lightweight, durable, and easy to clean.

Our hardware is made of zamak, manufactured in Alicante. It is rust-proof, hypoallergenic, and highly resistant to daily wear. We choose every component individually, with intention and responsibility.

We create with our hands

Once the design and materials are defined, the crafting begins.

We hand-cut the leather piece by piece, mark the connection points, and prepare every part with precision: sanding the edges, applying reinforcements, and meticulously fitting the hardware and zippers.

Then comes the crochet. There are no machines for this: every stitch is done by hand, and every weave requires hours of dedicated work.

Finally, we assemble all the pieces and inspect every finish in detail.

The result

Every CUECHÉ bag is a unique, unrepeatable piece.

There is no rush in our process, as we believe that true quality takes time.

We create handbags that blend design, heritage craftsmanship, and high-quality materials. These are pieces made to last, to accompany you, and to liberate your essence.

Because what matters is not just how a bag looks, but everything it represents.

This is how we do it
